About

Beikthano Gallery

Beikthano Gallery was founded in Yangon by artist U Tin Win, with a passion for Myanmar art and a desire to bring together works by artists from different generations.

Over the years, the gallery has built a significant collection of Myanmar art, with a particular focus on works by earlier generations of renowned Myanmar artists, including U Ngwe Gaing, Paw Oo Thett, U Aung Khin, Saya Saung and others. The collection reflects different periods and styles of Myanmar painting and has long been at the heart of the gallery.

Today, Beikthano Gallery continues to preserve and share this collection while also presenting selected works and exhibitions by contemporary artists. We hope to create a welcoming space where people can discover, appreciate, and connect with Myanmar art from the past and present.
